Also known as Goat's Beard, the Aruncus Dioicus has decorative finely-cut foliage and will create a bold, showy effect for a moist or partly shaded spot all season.
Dense feathery plumes of tight white flowers rise well above the foliage spring to summer. Aruncus, from the Greek aryngos (goat’s beard), refers to the showy, finger-like flower clusters, which form feathery masses of all male or all female flowers. The species occurs around the Northern Hemisphere. The effect is that of a giant astilbe.
