Where are you located?
We are located on the Gulf Coast, TX USA.

Do you ship internationally?
We only ship within the USA and Canada due to strict import regulations elsewhere. We do not provide any official, quarantine or phytosanitary Certificates at this time. We do not send botanical items to mail forwarding companies or addresses with the intend to export. Perishables and seeds with short viability, such as ginger or cacao, ship at the buyers risk. Please see our Terms. We cannot ship plants, bulbs, corms, seedlings, starter plants to international destinations for obvious reasons. Shipping internationally takes 8-14 business days (excl Holidays). Please note, that your package might be subject to customs inspection, which can delay delivery.

How are Seeds, Bulbs and Plants shipped?
We use USPS Ground Advantage (formerly know as First Class Package & Parcel Select Ground) Plants and Bulbs are shipped properly wrapped and secured in a box or Bubble Envelope, depending on their needs, or as outlined in the item description. We use heat and cold resistant wrapping during cold and hot seasons. If you have a special request please let us know.

When will my order ship?
Please allow (1 - 2 business days) for us to fill your order and prepare it for shipping. When your order has shipped, we will notify you by an email along with a USPS Tracking # If it is international, we will include a Customs Form Number #

Wrong Shipping Address or Canceling Order
Wrong Address/Returned Mail: Please check to make sure your address is correct while placing your order. We cannot be held liable for lost packages due to wrong or insufficient addresses supplied. If you change your mind and want to cancel your order, after the package has already shipped, we are happy to issue a refund for the item price minus shipping and a 10% restocking fee, once the package is returned to us.

Do you offer free shipping?
We do not offer free shipping. We are a small outfit and do not qualify for a reduced shipping contract with shipping companies. On occasion we offer a free shipping promotion with a coupon code, that can be applied at check out. No adjustments after a purchase is made or the items have been shipped. Shipping cost includes handling, printed germination guidelines and protective packaging.

Do you combine shipping?
Yes, we combine shipping. We also refund any excessive overpaid shipping cost if it occurs. ------------ *If you place 2 different orders on the same day, we'll ship them separate for tracking purposes, unless you send us an email, requesting that you would like those orders combined. Since we process orders daily, we cannot combine shipping for orders placed on different days.

No, we do not ship to Military/ Embassy Installations and APO addresses.

Are your Seeds Pre-Treated?
In general no unless specified in the listing. Many of our seeds, especially exotic or rare species, require some form of pre-treatment i.e soaking, nicking or stratification.

Do you guarantee your product?
Seeds, Bulbs, Plants and Cuttings: If plants or seeds arrive broken, we'll either replace them or refund you if you email us within 48 hours of delivery. Shipping is not refundable. Picture of damage may be required. Due to the nature of the item, no additional guarantees are given, no refunds or replacements on seeds and bulbs. See our "Terms" for details and additional info. We will exercise care to have all seeds true to name, however, no warranty expressed or implied is given. Any liability will be limited to the purchase price of the seed. If the purchaser does not accept the product on these terms, we request that the product be returned at once. See our "Terms" for details and additional info. Thank you for your understanding.

Do you provide germination instructions?
We provide printed germination guidelines for all seeds sold on our web site. We do not provide digital versions at this time. We encourage our buyers to research the web for additional info for all items ordered. Some of the seeds we offer are easy to germinate, but since we carry a lot of rare species, those might take quite a bit of gardening skill to break down dormancy. Some perishable seeds may be germinating during shipping. We do supply smoke seed primer strips along with seeds that might benefit from smoke pre-treatment. This goes mainly for Australian natives or certain native seeds that would require smoke to break dormancy (exposure to smoke to simulate wild fires common to the plants natural habitat).

Do you provide a printed Receipt?
No, Receipts are auto-generated and sent to you via email when you place your order. These can be printed for your records.

Do you sell in Bulk?
No. Rare seeds means “rare” seeds. While we do offer higher seeds counts on some species, due to prolonged viability, most species that we do offer, have either a limited seed pod production, are hard to obtain due to location, are difficult to germinate or are highly perishable.

How long are special request Items or Custom orders available?
Due to the nature of the item(s) all reserved custom orders expire within 24 hours of notification, no exceptions. We appreciate your understanding. If you need more time, please let us know ahead of time.

Why are some of your seeds more expensive than regular Seeds?
Where do we begin. Tracking down world wide rarities is a task that's very time consuming. Fetching fertile seeds of rare species is often super challenging. Getting them imported is very difficult and sometimes expensive. Supplying you with workable germination instructions is another story, because we test most of these seeds in-house before we sell them. Some species produce more seeds, some less. That pretty much sums it up.

How do you handle my personal information?
We use your personal information for shipping purposes only. If you would like occasional email updates please email us with a request by using the websites contact function. We have no control over information customers submit to their credit card institutions.

Are your seeds GMO/GVO free?
Lab engineering has become very real especially when it comes to food supply. That being said, we don't see anything wrong with a homegrown cross of heirlooms. While we do sell most seeds for your (and our) unique greenhouse and garden pleasure, it is one of the reasons why we sell wild, rare and unconventional species. We do not sell any lab-transgenic seeds. To the best of our knowledge, no contamination of our seeds with wind- or pollinator-borne trans-genes has occurred. We do not treat our seeds, plants or soil with chemicals or pesticides. Occasionally some species of seeds may require treatment of fungicide, but this will always be specifically outlined in the item description. -------------------- What is GMO/GVO? A GMO (genetically modified organism) is the result of a laboratory process where genes from the DNA of one species are extracted and artificially forced into the genes of an unrelated plant or animal.

I have been looking for a species to use for medicinal purposes, are your seeds safe to eat?
All seeds, bulbs, cuttings and plants are sold for growing purposes only and are not meant to be consumed. Even products that may have an herbal use may have not been evaluated by the FDA. We are not licensed herbalists or physicians, or other health care professionals. We recommend you checking with a herbalist or physician regarding safety of usage. Our seeds are either wild collected or organically grown, however due to the rarity and limited quantities of our seeds, they are not certified. We can not take any responsibility for any adverse effects from the use of our product. Always seek advice from a professional before using a plant medicinally. Accordingly, the buyer agrees not to ingest any product on this site without fully accepting responsibility for the consequences of doing so.

Do you Personalize or Gift Wrap?
Yes, we can gift-wrap seed packets. We have several different varieties of small natural and eco-friendly Kraft Gift Boxes, small Burlap Sacks as well as Kraft Paper envelopes. Please check our Supply section for details. A small note such as i.e. "Happy Birthday" can be included for free with any seed order. Send us an email with details.

What do you do with expired Seeds and Plants not selling?
We gift our extras randomly along with an order and sometimes we hold contest on our Facebook page or donate to a local plant sale. If you have a truly special cause for a donations, we'll take it into consideration - See Donation FAQ

Donation Request
Donation Request: We help when and where we can. However, as a small company, we simply do not have the resources to meet every request. We therefore have implemented a procedure for filling. If you would like to submit a request, please request a Donation Request form from us and send is along with a letter on your organization's letterhead explaining the scope of your mission, what you are seeking. If it is an appropriate request to our giving guidelines, we will retain your request on file. When we complete our annual inventory rotation in the late fall, our review committee will meet to allocate donations. At that point, you will be notified with further details and to coordinate the donation. We apologize and hope that you will understand that we cannot respond to every submission.
