Adenium obesum, also known as "Desert Rose" or "Impala Lily", is a native of East Africa. It is a succulent shrub, evergreen in tropical climates and semi-deciduous to deciduous in colder climates. Adenium obesum, also known as "Fat Plant" are naturally sculptured plants with stunning flowers. The range includes a kaleidoscope of colors – anything from the purest of white, through to hot pinks and deep black-reds. They are drought tolerant so can survive with little watering. Adenium obesum perform well in the ground, provided the soil mix is free draining and the plant protected from frost. The make stunning as pot specimens.
