One of the most spectacular fall florals you can imagine. They’re becoming a very popular cut flower stem for autumn arrangement and are unique in the garden.
Intriguing clusters of 1-inch orange “pumpkins” are born on 3-foot tall plants. Plants are erect and bushy. The bitter fruits are often used in Asian cooking.
For best results, start the seeds early indoors. Then, transplant outside after the danger of frost is past. The transplants will need watered on a regular basis.
