About halfway between a heading broccoli and a broccoli raab, these succulent tender small green heads with very large beads make delightful raw eating. Very loose heads, lots of side shoots, sweet stalks.
Although the central head is smaller compared to hybrid varieties, the plant grows large and continually puts out side shoots each with their own little head for a long long time, which means you can eat broccoli without having to constantly replant.
The taste is mild and sweet in hot weather too! Likes rich soil, regular water, full to 3/4 sun. Harvest all flower stalks at bud stage to keep them coming. Heat loving broccoli.
