C0nfederate or Star Jasmine is a very popular evergreen vine that requires very little care. Grown for its fragrant white star shaped flowers on dense dark green foliage. Jasmine are prolific bloomers from spring through summer. Gardeners use them for privacy screens, on fences, on a trellis or to form archways. Best planted in full sun or part sun, once established they are drought tolerant. Very fragrant.
Jasmine will grow to a height of over 20 feet and a width of 6 - 8 feet. Trimming can be done to fit your garden design needs. Considered an evergreen perennial in USDA Zones 8 - 11. In colder zones rooted plants are potted for wintering indoors.
