The vine is usually covered with blooms throughout the summer. Depending upon the region, the foliage may dry or even die in the winter. However, if mulched properly, the roots will survive and produce new growth in the following year. Perennial zone 9+, will come back in spring even after a hard freeze.
We want to empathize that this species may be challenging to propagate for some, so there is absolutely no guarantee of success on our part, except for them being fresh cut and properly damp packaged for shipping with priority mail.
