This variety produces fruit in the right condition if allowed to bloom. Hardy zone 9-12 or indoors. In cooler climates provide root protection and it comes back the following spring. This banana rapidly grows to seven feet tall (smaller in a container) and enjoys moist soil until established. For containers, use a well-drained potting soil mix.
