Senna bicapsularis has many common names including Butterfly Cassia, Winter Cassia, Butterfly Bush and Christmas Senna.

Gorgeous evergreen large shrub, or trainable small tree, fast growing 8 to 12 feet tall, 8 to 10 feet spread. Produces masses of bright yellow buttercup-shaped clumps of blossoms over a long period in autumn and winter.
