Strange nepethes-like flowering vine. Aristolochia ringens is a perennial climbing plant and can grow up to 20 Ft high. The spectacular creme - purple flowers are reminiscent of bird beaks. Aristolochia ringens is suitable as a pot plant or outside in warm areas. It also does well in low light conditions and can be grown indoors. Will tolerate high humidity or arid climates with little rain, although irrigation should be provided.
This ornamental plant native to tropical America and has medicinal benefits. Zone 9-11.
