Lush green foliage and enchantingly beautiful flowers make Calico Flower a must have for your garden. Native to Brazil, Aristolochia elegans is an evergreen vine with dense, heart-shaped leaves, which can serve as an attractive cover for fences. The vigorous vine can reach 12 or more feet in height. Blooms are a mottled maroon against a white or pale green background and can reach 4" across. Because is has such luxuriously dense (and attractive!) foliage this vine makes a great screen. The vine grows best in partial shade. Attracts butterflies! Zone 8-10
