Savoy cabbage has deep green crinkly leaves and is considered the most tender and sweet. Savoy cabbage has the same shape as green and red cabbage, but has the most striking deep-green, crinkly leaves. Its flavor is very mild. Its leaves don’t have that same stiffness to them like other cabbages, thus it’s perfect for stuffing and wrapping, the leaves won’t break. It is delicious cooked, in pasta, either roasted or sautéed. Savoy cabbage can supplement slaws and salads when raw. Perfection Savoy is a key ingredient in the wonderful Italian ministrone soup, but still very tender for fresh eating. Perfection Savoy cabbage is very high in fiber, vitamins and minerals, and like other cruciferous vegetables has been proven to have cancer fighting properties.
