Jacquemontia pentantha is a fast-growing, twining perennial climber, branching freely from the base, with heart-shaped bright green leaves and stunning violet-blue to blue formed in clusters. Stems climb by twining and may reach 6-10 feet in length. The exquisite bright small 1 inch flowers come in a constant succession of flowers from the small clusters of buds. The flowers are highly attractive to honey bees. Full sun, Zone 9-11. This species is listed as endangered in Florida.
