Crepe Myrtle or Crape Myrtle (Lagerstroemia indica) is an ornamental shrub or tree that produces beautiful flower clusters. Blooming usually takes place in summer and continues throughout fall. It grows to an ideal height, the canopy establishes very quickly and evenly, and the bloom cycles are exceptionally long. Crape Myrtles are known to show their beautiful flowers from early spring all the way into the fall. Once established requires very little care, loves the hot sun and grow great in clay-type soil. Great Bonsai material. Zone 7-10.
