It tastes very similar to a butternut squash but is a lot sweeter and a lot smaller, about a quarter of the size of your typical butternut squash, weighing in at about 2-lbs. Great for those who want a smaller or individualized portion, higher yielding than traditional butternut squash. Simply cut in half and bake!
Fruit initially appears dark green when immature and ripens to deep orangey-tan color. Start indoors in areas where time is of the essence. Days from transplant to ripe fruit: 85 days
