Hibiscus Trionum is one of the stand-out stars of the garden. The bushy plants bear lovely silvery white to yellow flowers, each with a chocolate-purple center. The flowers are 3 to 4" inches and carried in huge numbers over the entire plant for all of the summer and well into autumn. It is an easy to grow, very ornamental bedding or border plant, with a compact and good-branching growth habit. It is found in various soil types, including sandy soil, compacted clay and loamy soil. Makes a nice cut flower. It is drought tolerant and performs well when grown as a container plant. Usually grown as an annual or perennial in zone 9-10. Attractive to bees and butterflies.
