The Henna Plant is a tall shrub or small tree, 6-8 Ft tall and is a native to tropical and subtropical regions. It grows in to a small tree but it can be kept small and shrub-like with pruning. Small fragrant white flowers appear from spring to fall and it prefers to be grown in full sun and warm temperatures.
Henna, Lawsonia inermis, is a flowering shrub used since antiquity to dye skin, hair, fingernails, leather and wool. Henna has also various medicinal benefits. Protect from hard freezes. Suitable as a pot plant for indoors.
