This curious and striking perennial bears a great profusion of showy 2” sombrero flowers. It is an erect, hairy, clump-forming plant that typically grows to 1-3’ tall, suitable for 4 to 9. Yellow-edged red petals create a stunning display on this rare, easy-to-grow wildflower. Fast growing, easily grown in average, dry to medium, well-drained soils in full sun. Tolerates drought, light shade and somewhat poor soils.
