Kalanchoe pinnata or also Bryophyllum pinnatum is a succulent perennial plant that grows 2-4 feet tall. Commonly known as 'air plant,' it has tall hollow stems, fleshy dark green leaves that are distinctively scalloped and trimmed in red, and bell-like pendulous flowers. Highly prized for it's wide variety of medicinal uses. Great container plant. Protect from frost. Once sprouted it does not need much water, is like a cactus.
