One of the showiest vines - and most vigorous! Wisteria sinensis is the ever-popular Chinese Wisteria with fragrant, lilac-blue flowers in racemes up to 7 1/2 inches long. Its blooms appear from late winter to early summer, depending on your climate, and adorn the vines for several weeks each year. A rapid, vigorous grower that is perfect for creating a spectacular bonsai.
These tough, drought-resistant vines require minimal care. Wisteria will tolerate partial shade conditions, but it will bloom its best when exposed to full sun.
