10 Fresh Seeds w/Instructions
This Milkweed Tree is the host plant for Monarch butterflies. It provides nectar year round for butterflies as a perennial in zones 8-11. It grows as an annual in colder climates. Growing up to 8' foot high as a perennial, it will need 6' foot of growing space. They grow easily in arid or humid conditions. They are drought tolerant. The flowers do have a slight fragrance. The leaves are nice and thick, so the caterpillars don't need to crawl away to pupate.
In cooler climate start seeds indoors at least 2 months before last frost.
