A spectacular native to the coasts of the Canary Islands this is an evergreen perennial to 18” tall forming clumps to 2-3’ wide. This durable plant forms a rounded-mound of olive-green foliage highlighted with a showy display of long-lasting vivid bi-colored blue-purple and white flowers appearing on multi-branched stems that rise above the foliage spring through summer or nearly year-round in mild climates. Tolerates seaside conditions and a variety of different soil types and requires little water once established. Thrives in a full to partial sun exposure. Perennial for beach plantings. Great for cut or dried flower arrangements. Attracts Butterflies. Zone 9+
