They make great additions to fresh bouquets where they provide a perfect foil for showier colors, and if dried will add structure and interest to longer-lasting arrangements.
It's native to western Asia, Turkey, Syria, and Caucasus, where it grows in fields and on stony slopes. Zone 3-9.
