A rare and beautiful plant with stunning panicles of deep ruby red flowers from June to August. Echium russicum is a perennial producing rosettes of silky-haired, greyish green leaves. The spikes of dark ruby red, narrowly funnel-shaped flowers are produced in late summer. Grows up to 3 Ft. Prefers sun and fertile well drained soil. USDA Zones: 3 - 8
