The flowers open when the sun is shinning, that is why it is often times called the weather plant or weather flower. Because of its abundant flowers and tidy growth, this plant grows well in containers, in rock or fairy and miniature gardens, Zone 9+. It is also grown as an annual in cooler climates and spreads to about 12" and gets about 6" tall.
