Spectacular display! Stunning shrub species that can form a lovely small multi branched tree at maturity. Dark green bracts slowly expand, become a beautiful creamy white that sometimes fades to deep pink. Mute red berries look like raspberry gumballs. Gorgeous scarlet autumn foliage.
You can easily see forming flowers as small rounded green disks with four tiny triangular green bracts so you know in advance of the display. Drought tolerant when established. Suitable for containers and bonsai. Zone 5-8.
Germination is long winded.
