Bush Anemone, is a handsome, hard to find California native evergreen shrub, prized for its dense growth habit and clusters of lush, white, sweetly scented blooms which flower late spring and summer. The 2-3 inch flowers are brilliant white with yellow stamens, and sometimes twenty of them can be found at the tips of the stems growing from the lush green foliage.This bush does best when give dappled shade and light sun, especially if planted in an inland garden. It will thrive if planted 3 or 4 feet from a high water area where it will benefit from the drainage. Grows 5-10 feet high, but can be pruned. Zones 8-10.
