8 Fresh Seeds w/Instructions
This seldom-seen collector vine from Western China will add a romantic touch to the garden which makes a welcome change to the usual climbers you see in our gardens. Glorious, heart-shaped foliage becomes smothered in a carpet of sweet scented summer blooms that appear in panicles, seemingly out of nowhere! Hardy down to 30 F, the sweet, sugar-soaked perfume can fill the garden year after year. The flowers last for up to a week and resemble hoya flowers. Not surprising as Hoyas and Dregeas are related.
Tender Perennial zones 9-11. This plant is attractive to bees and butterflies.
Like Hoya, its close relative, this plant is very suitable for containers and will over-winter easily and can also be enjoyed indoors.
Other Names: Wattakaka sinensis, Rosy Milkweed Vine, Chinese Dregea. Family: Asclepiadaceae. Hoya relative
