A South American native, Tropical Milkweed grows 30" inches high and produces clusters of showy bright yellow colored flowers. Used as a nectar source by many butterfly species (especially Monarch) and also by bees and hummingbirds.
The term "weed" refers to the fact that milkweed grows in poor soil.
Plant in full sun and treat as an annual. Save the seeds this fall and start them next year .
