'Blue Mink' is a lovely, mounding annual with mid-green leaves and rich, fluffy, threadlike, powder-blue flowers throughout the summer until frost.
The soft fuzzy flower heads occur in mass, almost completely covering the foliage. The latin name is derived from the Greek 'A geras' meaning non-aging, a reference to the long-lasting quality of the blooms.
Mature height is about 10 inches. Best in areas with full sun and rich, moist, well-drained soil. Plants are best for mass plantings, edging, borders and walkways. Also a good choice for container gardening. Annual.
