10 Fresh Seeds w/Instructions
The asparagus pea, also known as Tetragonolobus purpurea, is one of the prettiest vegetables on the planet. These unusual plants are very attractive with a low bushy form, gray green leaves and brick-red flowers. They'll look great equally at home in flower borders or an ornamental kitchen garden. The Uniquely flavored pods are edible and are best steamed whole when small, about one inch long and tender.
Not surprisingly, the flavor is similar to asparagus and you cook it the same way too - steam lightly, drain, toss in butter, or pop into a stir-fry, delicious!
