The rare Dragon Fruit cactus (Pitaya) is a tropical cactus with tasty fruit similar to watermelon, grown commercially just for the fruits. The Flowers are stunning and fruits are very attractive and have no spines. These cacti grow like a vine and are best staked. Being tropical cacti, they do not tolerate frost. Can be grown indoors, some growers say they do better in pots than in the ground.
