This Nemophilia is a low spreading shrub-like plant that has succulent stems and flowers with six curved, unusual dark purple to black petals with white rims.
The plant does well in sandy, gritty soils and has some drought tolerance. In fact, light sandy soil makes the best seed bed as it drains well.
This annual is easy to sow and takes off quickly. Adapts well to containers and therefore makes it a great choice for miniature gardens.
